The statue depicts Saint Francis of Paola with the characteristic habit of the Minims, the stick in his hands and clogs on his feet,
the base is rounded and is engraved with “S. Francesco Di Paola”.
The resin statue is made by Neapolitan master craftsmen, entirely Italian production.
Saint Francis of Paola was an Italian religious man, proclaimed a saint by Pope Leo X on 1 May 1519. He was a hermit and founded the Order of Minims.
St. Francis of Paola is known for his great charity towards the poor and needy, and for the numerous miracles attributed to him during his lifetime.
