Description
This silver chalice is a unique work by the French master sculptor Goudji.
An internationally renowned artist, he stands out for his iconic and timeless style inspired by the most brilliant years of the French Middle Ages.
Master Goudji, among many awards, is known for the creation of the baptismal font present in the Notre Dame Cathedral of Paris, for the creation of the rationale dedicated by the saint Pope John Paul II on the occasion of the millennial jubilee of the year 2000, the reliquary for the translation of Saint Pio of Pietrelcina.
The chalice is made entirely of silver and features lapis lazuli inlays on the base, agate and polychrome quartz on the node through which a cross engraved in deep blue can be seen.
Medieval style chalice supported by four square-section feet.
