LOURDES STATUE.

The statue represents the Virgin Mary as she appeared to Bernadette Soubirous in Lourdes, France, in 1858.
The figure wears a white tunic with a veil and golden edges, a blue sash around her waist, a rosary on her left arm and her hands joined in prayer.
The base is “rocky” and the writing “ND de Lourdes” is present at the bottom.
Our Lady of Lourdes is venerated for the numerous miracles attributed to her apparitions and for her intercession in times of need.

The feast of Our Lady of Lourdes is celebrated on February 11, and her devotion continues to bring comfort and hope to millions of faithful around the world.
