The Miraculous Medal:
The Miraculous Medal is the name that Catholic tradition has given to the medal created following what happened in 1830 in Paris, at 140 rue du Bac, to Saint Catherine Labouré, a novice in the convent of the Daughters of Charity of Saint Vincent de Paul, who is said to have had Marian apparitions.
«Have a coin minted
Medal… all the people who will wear it will receive great graces, especially
wearing it around the neck; graces will be abundant for those who wear it with confidence."
