The Rosary of the Seven Sorrows, also known as “Rosary of Our Lady of Sorrows” It is a devotional object used to meditate on the seven sorrows suffered by the Virgin Mary.
Wooden rosary with black worked oval beads, the chain is in silver-plated metal.
The rosary has several medals depicting Our Lady of the Seven Sorrows on one side and the scene of the Crucifixion on the back.
Each decade is made up of seven beads, with a medallion at regular intervals, for a total of seven medallions representing the seven sorrows of Mary.
