This work is a representation of Mary and the Sacred Heart, one of the most venerated images by Christians throughout the world.
The Sacred Heart, the central element of the sculpture, symbolizes pure and unconditional love for her son Jesus and for humanity.
The sculpture is made of polyester resin and marble powder, hand-colored using oil and water-based acrylic colors.
Mary wears a pink dress and a blue veil, with the Sacred Heart visible on her chest.
It is placed on a square base and is engraved with the words “Sacred Heart of Mary”.
The statue is often used for devotion and worship, especially during the month of October, when the Church remembers the Sacred Heart of Mary.
